The main beach of Sayulita does not offer great snorkeling but there are three snorkel locations within walking distance. It is advisable to bring your own snorkeling equipment to Sayulita Mexico, however limited rentals are available with local beach consessionares and village shops. In addition to great snorkeling is offered by a boat trip with allmost anyone of the local Mexican boat captains. Punta Sayulita

The hidden beachs along the south point of the bay can be reached on low tide or by kayak. Here you find several small sandy beaches sperated by large granit bolders. Along this area is the best snorkeling in Sayulita

Playa los Muertos

Continue past the cemetery on to Playa de Los Muertos, which is very popular with Mexican families and a safe swimming beach. Huge rocks protect it on both sides.

Carriztos Beach

From the Plaza head south towards Punta de Mita, make a right turn on Niños Heroes. Proceed to fork in the road stay left. Contioun on up and over the jungled lined hill down to south end of the beach.
