Cash goes further. Plenty of smaller places take pesos only, or add a fee for cards. There are ATMs on the plaza.
Tipping is usually 10–15%, and is not normally included in the bill.
High season is December to April. For dinner in those months it is worth calling ahead.
Stick to purified water — which is what restaurants serve, and what the ice is made from.
Most kitchens close earlier than you expect. Sayulita eats early; by ten many are winding down.
