PVR to Sayulita

Bus Information Puerto Vallarta Airport to Sayulita: You must exit the airport and walk over across the highway (carretera) using the overpass . Here northbound buses to Sayulita will stop. Official bus stops are marked by signs with a bus outlined in white on a blue background. Routes are painted on the front of the bus or posted on the window. The bus you want will have Sayulita listed (other northbound buses, those without Sayulita listed, at the very best will drop you off at the junction of the road a mile outside of Sayulita!). The cost is 20 pesos and the 36-km or 22-mile ride takes approximately one hour. This is not an express bus. It stops at all points along the way including Mescales, and Bucerias.

Sayulita to Puerto Vallarta by Bus.

Sayulita to Downtown Puerto Vallarta (Centro) Bus Information:The Sayulita to Puerto Vallarta bus departs from the Sayulita plaza. The cost is 20 pesos and the 36-km or 22-mile ride takes approximately one hour. This is not a express bus and will stop at points along the way including Bucerias and the Puerto Vallarta airport ( which lies outside of town). The last stops on the Sayulita to Puerto Vallarta run are the Plaza Genovesa, Gigante, Sam's, Plaza Neptuno, Plaza Marina, Puerto Vallarta and, finally, the Puerto Vallarta Sheraton hotel. To reach downtown Puerto Vallarta (Centro), you must continue onward by catching a city bus at one of these final stops for 4 pesos. Official bus stops are marked by signs with a bus outlined in white on a blue background. Routes are painted on the front of the bus or posted on the window. To return to Sayulita from Puerto Vallarta, simply catch the same city bus back.
