Go Hiking in the Riviera Nayarit

Whether you want a quick morning hike along secluded tropical beach or a full day ATV adventure the Rivera Nayarit offers a diverse array of options. The Riviera Nayarit has some absolutely fantastic trails - hikers surely won't be disappointed. You can hike a trail leading into a rain forest or you can hike into a gulch full of ancient pictographs as your reward. You can hike along the ridge of Monkey Mountain and take a trip to Playa Litibu . Many trails are not marked but local guides are easy to find. Each pueblos has it local experts all you need to do is just ask.

Punta Sayulita

The hidden beachs along the south point of the bay can be reached on low tide or by kayak. Here you find several small sandy beaches sperated by large granit bolders. Along this area is the best snorkeling in Sayulita
Mal Paso

Once you get to the end of the beach in Sayulita, head inland and follow the path to Mal Paso, across a cobbled driveway, through two gates to some old brick steps that take you down to the beach at the south end of Mal Paso.
Moneky Mountian

Monkey mountain, near Sayulita is considered sacred to the Huichol Indians and is one of the most distinctive features of the surrounding landscape. Head south from Sayulita on the road to Punta Mita.
